exhibition À MARGEM
A partnership between Espaço do Conhecimento UFMG and the Manuelzão Extension Project, this exhibition tells the story of the vital waters that shaped the emergence of Belo Horizonte. Through an immersive journey along the Velhas River Basin, which borders many towns in Minas Gerais, visitors are invited to trace the river's path from its source to its flow through fields and cities. The exhibit explores the transformation of green, preserved areas into spaces burdened with sewage, industrial waste, pesticides, and sedimentation. This sensory experience highlights the cities and communities along the river and its tributaries, shedding light on both the positive and negative aspects of their relationship with the water. The design team, under my coordination, contributed to this exhibition by developing its visual identity, creating exhibit design content, and designing promotional materials.
